Privacy Policy
This privacy policy describes what information this site collects, why, and what choices you have. The short version is that this is a static reference publication: it has no user accounts, no comments, no checkout and no newsletter signup, and it does not ask visitors for personal information anywhere except the contact form.
Information you send us
If you use the contact form, we receive the name, email address, subject and message you submit, and we use them only to read and, where appropriate, reply to your enquiry and to maintain a record of corrections. We do not use contact-form submissions for marketing, we do not add them to mailing lists, and we do not sell or rent them. Messages are retained only as long as needed for the correspondence and any correction record that follows from it.
Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics with the measurement configuration shown in the page source to count visits and understand which pages are useful. Analytics cookies distinguish repeat visits and sessions. The data we see is aggregated — pages viewed, approximate geography, device type — and we do not use it to identify individual visitors or combine it with contact-form submissions.

Advertising cookies, when advertising is active, are set by Google and its partners as described above and support personalised or non-personalised advertising depending on your settings and region. Functional cookies are not used: the site has no accounts, no preferences and no shopping functions to remember. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time; the site's content remains fully readable with cookies blocked, because every page is published as static text and tables.
Data retention and security
Contact-form messages are kept in the editorial mailbox for as long as the correspondence and any resulting correction record require, and are then deleted in periodic reviews. Analytics data are retained under Google Analytics' standard retention settings for this property. We take reasonable technical measures to protect the small amount of information we hold, but no internet transmission is completely secure, and we ask senders not to include sensitive personal information — such as passport numbers, case receipt numbers or financial details — in contact messages, because this site never needs them.
Your choices
You may ask what contact-form information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, by writing through the contact page; we will respond to such requests within a reasonable period. If you are in a jurisdiction that gives you specific rights over your personal information, those rights are not limited by this policy. You can also opt out of personalised advertising and analytics measurement using the Google settings and browser controls described above, without affecting your access to any page on this site.
