Disclaimer

LCA wages are offered wages stated on Labor Condition Application filings, not guaranteed actual pay. That sentence is the disclaimer that appears on every data page of this site, and this page explains it in full so there is no ambiguity about what any figure here claims.

A certified LCA means the Department of Labor certified the application form as complete on its face. It does not mean the Department verified the wage against payroll, that a subsequent visa petition was approved, that the worker started work, or that the worker remained employed at the stated wage. Pay after filing can change through raises, promotions, bonuses, hours changes and role changes, none of which are reflected in the original disclosure row. Total compensation — equity, benefits, signing and relocation payments — is not recorded on the form at all.

Figures on this site are medians, means, percentiles and counts computed from the FY2024 Q4 and FY2025 Q1–Q4 disclosure files under the cleaning rules stated in the methodology, including the exclusion of non-certified statuses, the use of annual-wage filings for headline medians, and the removal of placeholder wages below $15,080 and above $1,000,000 a year. Employer names, occupation codes and worksites are reproduced as recorded by filers, whose own errors and grouping choices are part of the source data.

What certification means

Certification is the Department's determination that an application is complete and contains no obvious inaccuracies on its face. It is not an audit, an inspection or a finding that the employer's statements are true in every particular, and it is not a guarantee that the job existed on the terms stated, that a petition followed, or that employment began. Readers who treat a certified filing as proof of a completed hire are going beyond what the record supports, and conclusions built on that reading — about an employer's headcount, growth or pay practices — inherit the error.

Period, grouping and rounding

Figures describe filings from FY2024 Q4 and FY2025 combined, retrieved in October 2026; they are not a live feed and they do not describe filings made after the FY2025 Q4 file was published. Employers are grouped by the name recorded on the filings, normalised only for case and spacing, so a group on this site may combine legal entities that file under one name or split one organisation that files under several. Wages are rounded to the nearest dollar in tables. Percentile figures are computed from the cleaned annual-wage distributions described in the methodology and are not drawn from any external salary survey.

External sources

Links to the Department of Labor and other official sources are provided so readers can inspect the underlying records. We do not control those sites, their availability or any changes they make to published files after our retrieval date; where a file is later corrected at source, the correction will appear here only in a subsequent edition. If any part of this disclaimer conflicts with the methodology page, the methodology page's more specific statement governs for that point.

Nothing on this site is legal or immigration advice. Readers with questions about a specific filing, petition or offer should consult a qualified immigration attorney. If you believe a figure is computationally wrong under our stated rules, contact us with your working and we will correct or explain it.
