Contact Us
Use this form for corrections, data questions and general enquiries about this site. If you are reporting a figure you believe is wrong, include the page address and, if you have computed the figure yourself from the public disclosure files, your working — that is by far the fastest route to a correction. Please do not send personal immigration case details: we are a data publication, not a law firm, and we cannot advise on individual applications, petitions or eligibility.
We read every message that passes the form's checks and reply where a reply is useful, normally within a few working days. Messages that are sales pitches for unrelated services are discarded without reply. If you are an employer named on this site and believe your organisation's name has been grouped incorrectly — for example, two distinct filers merged by a shared name, or one filer split across spelling variants — tell us the exact names as they appear in the disclosure files and we will review the grouping.
Corrections: What to Include
Correction requests are resolved fastest when they are specific. Tell us the exact page address, the exact figure you believe is wrong, and the figure you believe is right. If you computed your figure from the disclosure files, tell us which files you used, which status values you included, which wage unit you used, and whether you applied an outlier rule. In our experience most disagreements turn out to be differences in exactly those choices — for example, including certified-withdrawn cases, or converting hourly wages to annual figures — rather than arithmetic errors, and stating your choices lets us identify the difference in one exchange instead of several.
What We Cannot Help With
We cannot check the status of an individual application, estimate the chances of a petition or a lottery selection, review a job offer for legal compliance, or confirm what a named individual was paid; the disclosure data contain no worker names and we hold no non-public information of any kind. We also cannot remove an employer from the data: the filings are public records published by the Department of Labor, and this site reports them as published. If a filing itself contains an error, the correction has to happen at the source, through the employer and the Department, after which a future edition of this site will reflect the corrected record.
Research and Press Use
Researchers and journalists are welcome to cite figures from this site under the citation terms on the terms page. If you need a figure that is not published — a different period, a narrower occupation grouping, a single quarter — say so in your message with the definition you need. Where the underlying public files support the computation under our published rules, we will either point you to the right combination of pages or explain why the requested cut would mislead, for example because the annual-wage count behind it is too small to support a stable median.
Submitting the form sends your message to the editorial team for this site only. We do not add submitters to mailing lists and we do not sell or share contact details; see the privacy page for how information submitted here is handled.
