Charles Schwab & Company, Inc. Salaries by Filing
Charles Schwab & Company, Inc. filed 719 certified Labor Condition Applications in the two fiscal years covered by this dataset, which places it among the most active employers in the entire disclosure file. Its median offered wage of $152,800 sits about 24% above the all-employer median of $123,282 computed across 662,198 certified cases nationally. That gap is worth reading carefully: it reflects the mix of occupations, seniority levels and worksite locations in this employer's filings far more than it reflects generosity or stinginess in any single negotiation, because a filing for a senior engineer in a high-cost metro and a filing for an entry-level analyst in a lower-cost market are averaged together in one headline figure.
The single most common occupation in its filings is Software Developers, accounting for about 67% of cases, and its most frequent worksite is Westlake, TX with 220 cases. Readers comparing an individual offer against this page should therefore start with the occupation and worksite tables below rather than the headline median alone: an offer that looks low against the company-wide median may be entirely typical for its role and city, while an offer that looks generous company-wide may be below the norm for a scarce specialty in an expensive labour market.
Wage Table — Charles Schwab & Company, Inc.
| Measure | Annual wage | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| 25th percentile | $140,000 | A quarter of annual-wage filings offered less than this |
| Median (50th percentile) | $152,800 | Half of filings offered more, half offered less |
| Mean (average) | $154,492 | Pulled up or down by very high and very low offers |
| 75th percentile | $166,290 | Only a quarter of filings offered more than this |
| Lowest included offer | $88,001 | After the outlier rule described in the methodology |
| Highest included offer | $330,000 | Offers above $1,000,000 are excluded as likely placeholders |
| All-employer median, this dataset | $123,282 | Comparison point across every certified filing |
The spread between the 25th percentile at $140,000 and the 75th percentile at $166,290 is the most useful range on this page. It describes the middle half of this employer's offers, ignoring the extremes at both ends. If a proposed salary falls inside that range, it is broadly consistent with what this employer offered in most of its recent filings for similar work. If it falls below the 25th percentile, that does not automatically make it unlawful or unfair — wage level, experience and location all legitimately move an offer — but it is a reasonable prompt to ask how the level was set and which prevailing-wage source was used.

Occupation mix explains most of the differences readers will see between employers on this site. Organisations that file mainly for software and data roles tend to show higher medians than organisations that file across a broad range of professional, healthcare and education roles, even when both pay competitively within each occupation. That is also why this site publishes a separate page for every major occupation: the fair comparison for any individual filing is almost always the occupation page first, the worksite page second, and the employer headline figure third.

Worksite matters because the prevailing wage an employer must meet is set for the area of intended employment, not for the employer's headquarters. Two filings for identical job titles can therefore carry very different offered wages simply because one role sits in a high-wage metropolitan area and the other does not. Where an employer files in many locations, as the worksite table shows here, its national median blends those local labour markets together. Readers with a specific city in mind should follow the worksite links in the rankings and compare against the relevant city and state pages, where the same computation is repeated using only filings for that place.
How These Figures Were Computed
Every figure on this page was computed by our script directly from the U.S. Department of Labor OFLC LCA disclosure files for FY2024 Q4 and FY2025 Q1–Q4, retrieved in October 2026. We kept only cases whose CASE_STATUS is exactly “Certified” — denied, withdrawn and certified-withdrawn cases are excluded. Headline medians use filings whose wage unit is a year, because annual salaries compare cleanly; hourly, weekly and monthly filings are counted in case totals but are not converted into the headline median, and our methodology page explains that choice in full. Wages below $15,080 a year (the annualized federal minimum wage at $7.25 an hour) or above $1,000,000 a year are excluded from medians as likely data-entry placeholders, and the number excluded is reported in the manifest that accompanies this site. Medians are shown alongside means because a handful of very large offers can drag a mean far above what a typical filing actually offered.
